Honoring Trails and Community at Winter Blast
Bluebird was proud to serve as the title sponsor for Gunnison Trails’ 11th Annual Winter Blast, held on Friday, February 27th, 2026, at the Western Colorado University Center Ballroom. The much-loved event brought together outdoor enthusiasts, community members, and trail advocates for an evening dedicated to celebrating and supporting local trail stewardship. The room buzzed with energy and excitement as attendees gathered to champion the future of Gunnison’s trail systems.
The night featured something for everyone, including an expansive silent auction benefiting the Gunnison Trails Trail Crew, a festive Mexican-inspired dinner, and plenty of drinks and good company. Throughout the evening, guests connected over shared stories of mountain adventures while Executive Director Tim Kugler highlighted the importance of maintaining Gunnison’s world-class trail network in every season. The Winter Blast once again served as a cornerstone event for bringing the community together around a common passion for the outdoors.
As a longtime supporter of Gunnison Trails, Bluebird was honored to help make this year’s event a success. The company remains committed to strengthening local recreation opportunities and supporting the organizations that keep our trails thriving.
