Celebrating Nine Years of Bluebird at the Stash
Last Friday, we gathered to celebrate nine years of growth, grit, and connection as the leading independent real estate brokerage in the Gunnison Valley—a milestone that felt both grounding and energizing. Surrounded by our team, friends, and community partners, we raised a glass to the relationships we’ve built, the homes we’ve helped shape, and the shared commitment that continues to define who we are. Celebrating at the Secret Stash for pizza and spirits has been an annual anniversary tradition since the company’s launch in the spring of 2017.
What began as a vision nearly a decade ago has grown into something truly meaningful. Over the past nine years, we’ve remained deeply rooted in this valley, driven by a belief that real estate is about more than transactions—it’s about people, trust, and community. That belief has carried us through another remarkable year.
This past year brought new achievements and continued momentum. Our team once again led the market, setting the pace in both listings and sales while maintaining a reputation for thoughtful service and local expertise. We’ve continued to collaborate closely, support one another, and deliver results that reflect not just hard work, but shared purpose.
Beyond the numbers, what matters most is how we show up for our community. From supporting local nonprofits through the Bluebird Charitable Fund to participating in events like our Bird to Bird ride that bring the valley together, giving back remains central to everything we do. It’s a responsibility we take seriously—and one we’re proud to carry forward.
And just as we were wrapping up the celebration, the weekend delivered a reminder of why we all love this place so much. A much needed fresh spring snowfall blanketed the valley, transforming everything into a quiet, white landscape—equal parts surprise and tradition in the mountains. It felt like the perfect transition: closing out one chapter while hinting at the next.
Because now, we look ahead.
Next year marks our 10th anniversary—a decade of building something enduring in a place we care deeply about. It’s a milestone we don’t take lightly. With it comes both reflection and excitement: a chance to honor where we’ve been and to imagine what’s still possible.
