Celebrating Community at the Gunnison Chamber After Hours

We had an amazing time yesterday co-hosting the Gunnison Chamber Business After Hours in our office! It was such a pleasure to partner with the Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley for an evening full of connection and community spirit.

Business After Hours events are always a blast — a chance to unwind, make new connections, and learn more about the incredible businesses and people who make up our valley. This one was extra special as we celebrated a new chapter for the Gunnison Chamber!

We were thrilled to welcome Leora Wallace as the new Executive Director of the Gunnison Chamber. Her energy and vision are exciting, and we can’t wait to see where she leads the organization. At the same time, we shared a heartfelt farewell to Celeste Helminski, who has dedicated eight incredible years to the Chamber — thank you, Celeste, for your leadership and all you’ve done for the community!

The Bluebird team also took the opportunity to share their new poster hot off the press for the inaugural “Bird to Bird” gravel bike ride from Gunnison to Crested Butte on July 27th. The ride is designed to bring the Valley together and support our trails systems.

Guests were treated to a spread of delicious bites from Dilly Deli and serenaded by the always-talented Matt Grant of Blue Mesa Music, creating a joyful evening.

Thank you to everyone who came out, we loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting a few new ones, too! Let’s keep the momentum going, here's to growing stronger together as a community.
