Steve Mills

Steve first came upon Crested Butte in 1979 and soon after, it became home. In 1980 he opened a sports store on Elk Avenue, then in 1991, he transitioned into a career in real estate. He served as a board member on the first Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce during his time in Crested Butte. In 1996, he and his three children moved down valley to Gunnison, where he resides to this day. While living in Gunnison, he has volunteered on the Cattlemen's Days board and has served as a president (2015) and board member (2006-2019) for the Gunnison/Crested Butte Association of Realtors.

In the warmer months, you will catch Steve pursuing his passion for road cycling, hiking and backpacking. In the colder months, you will see Steve touring around his favorite trails on his Nordic skis. Steve would love to show you around the valley he has loved to call home for many years!
