Willy Coburn

Willy is a Crested Butte native with deep family ties to the area. Growing up here was a unique, one-of-a-kind experience. His time in the valley makes him fully understand and appreciate how special this community is. After completing school at CBCS, he attended The University of Colorado in Boulder. He met his wife while working in CB, is a father of two, and is the older brother of Olympic medalist and World Champion Steeplechase runner Emma Coburn. In his free time, Willy enjoys a good round of golf and spending time at the family cabin in Tin Cup.

Willy comes from a family that is heavily involved in real estate and development, which inspired him to pursue a career as a Realtor. He grew up watching community projects being built from the ground up. In 2017, he embarked on his own professional journey, setting down roots in Asheville, North Carolina. While there, Willy specialized in helping first-time homebuyers navigate the often confusing and daunting home-buying process as well as helping investors find that perfect income-producing property. After seven years away, his family decided to move back to Crested Butte to both enhance their way of life and expand his career in Real Estate.

He has an extensive background in sales and negotiations and always puts the needs of his clients ahead of all else. Buying a home is the largest purchase a person makes in their lives, and Willy works tirelessly to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
